"The objective of the initiative is to contribute in the reduction of food waste, giving value to local cuisine and diffusing the culture of food as a resource to take care of. RistoriAMO wants to create a ""virtuous network of eco-restaurants"" that adopts sustainable practices, starting from offering their clients to bring home the unconsumed food. Every restaurant that shares the values of the initiative can be part of the network. By adhering, the restaurant is committed to promote the actions to the client. Adherent restaurants are at the centre of a series of promotion initiatives. Moreover, the restaurants of the city, after the completion of the experimental phase, will get a discount on the municipal waste collection taxes. The other restaurants that do not belong to the municipal area, can arrange other facilitations."

Promoters

The project is conceived and promoted by the Officina Dinamica association in collaboration with the Ferrara Municipality, Hera and Ausl Ferrara.
