Strategies and plans

The adoption of Food Strategies to boost the transition towards more sustainable socio-environmental systems is a growing tendency. The food, at different scales and contexts, assumes the role of a catalyst of actions; especially in the city, the proliferation of actions that links food and nutrition to public health, justice, social inclusion, economic vibrancy, urban resilience and environmental mitigation is traced.

The objective of this section of the observatory is to permit a transversal reading of the thematic and to enable the comparison of the different modalities adopted in making an Urban Food Strategy.
