Irene Bianchi

Curriculum vitae

Irene Bianchi, Research Assistant and lecturer at the Institute for Urban And Regional Studies of the Berlin University of Technology and PhD student in Urban Planning, Design and Policy at the Polytechnic University of Milan. Irene holds a master degree in Planning and Policies for Cities, Environment and Landscapes (University IUAV – University of Girona) and has a background in economics and social sciences. She carried out research activities at Iuav, Free University of Bolzano, Berlin University of Technology, working on themes related to environmental planning – including maritime spatial planning and integrated coastal management –  and urban policies. Her current research interests include: planning and climatic risk reduction, post-disaster planning, community resilience, urban and environmental conflicts, social and organizational learning.
