Sarah Stempfle, PhD, Post-Doc Researcher. Regional Planner specialized on environmental issues and sustainability, with a training experience at the Department of Territorial Policies and Public Works of Catalonia (Spain). In 2015 she obtained a PhD in Regional Planning and Public Policies at University Iuav of Venice, discussing a thesis focused on social practices dealing with taking care of places, agro-environmental requalification and landscape valorization. She collaborated at the scientific accompaniment of the european project “RURBANCE”. Currently she is a Rereach Fellow at the Department of Design and Planning in Complex Environments of University Iuav of Venice. Her research interests are mainly related to urban-rural linkages, landscape, civic agriculture and rural development, food planning.
